agentmemory-config
Set up and diagnose local agentmemory, including MCP, environment variables
by rohitg00Free
Description
Agentmemory-config helps you set up and diagnose a local agentmemory installation, including its MCP connection, environment variables, ports and feature flags. It is used when you are getting started, when a connection seems broken, or when you need to change how the server behaves. Agentmemory reads its configuration from the environment and from a .env file in the agentmemory folder, where each setting is written as KEY=value on its own line without an export prefix. The server must be restarted after a change to that file for the new settings to apply. The skill begins by checking the connection before it changes anything, so you can tell whether a problem is with the server or with the agent that calls it. Settings it covers include the embedding provider, the ports, and the feature flags that switch parts of the system on or off. The skill is part of the agentmemory plugin and is written for developers who run agentmemory on their own machine.…
