airunway-aks-setup

End-to-end AI Runway setup on AKS from bare cluster to running model deployment

airunway-aks-setup is an agent skill from Microsoft's azure-skills collection that walks through setting up AI Runway on an Azure Kubernetes Service cluster, from a bare cluster to a running model deployment. It goes in six steps, in order: verifying the cluster, installing the AI Runway controller, assessing GPU capacity, setting up an inference provider, deploying the first model and giving a summary. You can ask the skill to resume at a specific step if part of the setup is already done. It assumes the AKS cluster already exists; if it does not, the skill hands off to the azure-kubernetes skill first to create one, ideally with a GPU node pool. The skill warns that GPU node pools are expensive, quoting A100-80GB nodes at $3 to $5 or more per hour, and it asks you to confirm you understand the cost before it provisions GPU resources. It uses kubectl, make and curl, and it works alongside the azure-diagnostics skill for troubleshooting. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/microsoft/azure-skills --skill airunway-aks-setup.
