About analyze-feature-requests

A

analyze-feature-requests

Analyze and prioritize a list of feature requests by theme, strategic alignment

analyze-feature-requests is an agent skill that sorts and prioritizes a list of customer feature requests against product goals. It groups requests by theme and judges each one by strategic alignment, impact, effort and risk. It works from files you provide, such as spreadsheets, CSVs or documents, and for structured data it can produce a summary table. The skill is built on a principle worth knowing: customers should not be designing solutions, so it prioritizes the underlying opportunities, meaning the problems customers face, rather than the features they ask for. To score a problem it uses Dan Olsen's opportunity score, which is importance multiplied by one minus satisfaction, normalized to a value between zero and one. The skill points to a separate prioritization frameworks skill for the full method and templates. It is useful for product managers who receive many requests and need to decide what to work on next. It is part of the pm-skills collection by phuryn and is listed on skills.sh as free.
