argent-react-native-optimization

Optimizes a React Native app by profiling first to find real bottlenecks

argent-react-native-optimization is an agent skill for improving the performance of a React Native app. It is the entry point for all performance work, and it works by profiling first to find real bottlenecks before applying any change. The rules are to avoid shotgun optimizations, to define what good enough looks like as a target metric and threshold, to fix the top offender, and to measure again honestly. A quick scan uses the react-profiler-renders tool to show a live table of render counts and identify hot components. A deep measurement loads the profiler skill and runs a start, interact, stop and analyze sequence. Each finding is checked against its component source and the fiber tree, and the skill asks for a logical conclusion before any fix is made. One fix is applied per cycle for architectural changes, and the result is re-measured, with a revert if there is no net benefit. The skill also covers the React Compiler: when the profiler reports that the compiler is enabled, it does not add useCallback, useMemo or React.memo unless the compiler is confirmed to bail out. Sub-agents can review lint results and checklist items, but they cannot touch the device, so all profiling and end-to-end checks run in the main agent.
