About argent-test-ui-flow

A

argent-test-ui-flow

Autonomously test an app UI

argent-test-ui-flow is an agent skill that tests an app's UI on iOS or Android autonomously, by running loops of interact, screenshot and verify with the argent MCP tools. It is meant for checking UI flows, such as login, and for confirming that a screen behaves as expected after a change. It is platform agnostic: the interaction tools have the same names on both platforms, and the tool server chooses the platform from the device id it is given. The skill first resolves which device to test on by calling list-devices and following the device selection rule, which prefers a running device on any platform. Once a platform is chosen, the matching setup skill takes over: argent-ios-simulator-setup for simulators, or argent-android-emulator-setup for emulators. The skill notes that a physical iPhone needs the argent-ios-device-interact skill first, that the app must be launched before anything else because the describe call fails while the app is in the background, and that all interactions go through the argent MCP tools. The skill is installed with npx skills add https://github.com/software-mansion/argent --skill argent-test-ui-flow.
