azure-kubernetes

Plan and configure production-ready Azure Kubernetes Service clusters

azure-kubernetes is an agent skill from Microsoft's azure-skills collection for planning, creating and configuring production-ready Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters. It produces a recommended cluster configuration from the user's requirements and follows Day-0 and Day-1 practice. Day-0 decisions are the ones that are hard to change after creation, such as networking, API server access and the pod IP model. Day-1 features, such as observability, upgrades and autoscaling, can be enabled after the cluster exists. The skill includes a Day-0 checklist and a choice of SKU, between Automatic and Standard. Its quick reference lists the Azure MCP AKS tools and the CLI commands it uses, including az aks create, az aks show, kubectl get and kubectl describe. It names related skills in the collection for the next steps: azure-kubernetes-app-deploy for deploying an app to an existing cluster, azure-diagnostics for baseline AKS troubleshooting, azure-validate for readiness checks, and azure-kubernetes-automatic-readiness for moving an existing cluster to AKS Automatic.
