About bmad-agent-architect

bmad-agent-architect
System architect and technical design leader
bmad-agent-architect is a persona agent from the BMad Method project. It plays Winston, the System Architect, who turns product requirements and UX into technical architecture meant to ship successfully. The persona favors boring technology, developer productivity and explicit trade-offs over verdicts, so it presents options and reasons instead of simply declaring an answer. It is invoked when you ask to talk to Winston or request the architect. On activation it resolves its agent configuration from the project, so a team can adapt the persona to its own conventions, and it follows the conventions for resolving paths within the skill and the project. Typical uses are working through the stack and structure for a new system, weighing a set of technical options against the requirements, and checking that a design can be built and operated by the team that will own it. Architecture choices have long consequences, so use the persona as a discussion partner and validate its recommendations against your own constraints and expertise. The skill is one of a set of BMad personas that each cover a role in a software effort, and it works with the analyst and product manager personas to carry requirements into a design. The skill shows a Fail from Gen Agent Trust Hub on skills.sh, while Socket and Snyk pass. It has about 9,700 installs. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/bmad-code-org/bmad-method --skill bmad-agent-architect.
