About bmad-brainstorming

bmad-brainstorming
Facilitate a brainstorming session using diverse creative techniques
bmad-brainstorming is a facilitated brainstorming skill from the BMad Method project that helps someone generate far more and far better ideas on a topic than they would alone. It runs when you say help me brainstorm or help me ideate. The session pushes past obvious answers with sharper questions and harder constraints, with no rush to finish, and it aims for a result that surprises the person who brought the topic. The session runs in one of three stances, chosen at the start or implied by the request. In facilitator mode the skill never supplies ideas, which forces the person to generate their own. In creative partner mode it facilitates and also trades ideas. In ideate for me mode it runs the whole session itself and shows the result. The chosen stance holds for the whole run. The skill uses the BMad configuration for its conventions, and it resolves its references from the skill folder and the project. It suits teams and individuals who are stuck on a problem or need fresh options for a product, a feature or a name. Brainstorm output is raw material, so sort and test the most promising ideas before committing to any of them. The skill passes Gen Agent Trust Hub, Socket and Snyk on skills.sh, and it has about 9,700 installs. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/bmad-code-org/bmad-method --skill bmad-brainstorming.
