About bmad-customize

bmad-customize
Authors and updates customization overrides for installed BMad skills
BMad Customize writes the override files that change how an installed BMad agent or workflow skill behaves. You describe the change you want, the skill works out which customizable skill it belongs to, and then writes a TOML override into the project's _bmad/custom/ folder. It covers per-skill agent overrides and per-skill workflow overrides. It does not edit the central project config, and for that it points you to the How to Customize BMad guide. If the target skill does not expose the setting you want, the skill says so plainly rather than inventing a field. Use it with requests such as 'customize bmad', 'override a skill' or 'change agent behavior'. It checks the project first: if there is no _bmad/ folder, it reports that BMad is not set up and offers to install the bmad skill before continuing. When the project's resolver script is present, it verifies the result against the merged configuration, and otherwise it falls back to a manual merge. The skill is part of the BMad Method project on GitHub, which has about 54,000 stars. The listing shows it as free. Its security audits show passes from Gen Agent Trust Hub, Socket and Snyk.
