About bmad-retrospective

B

bmad-retrospective

Review a finished epic folder in the ticket tree against the evidence it left

BMad Retrospective reviews a finished epic in the ticket tree against the evidence it left behind. It reads the epic file, each ticket plan, the diffs and the commits, so the review rests on the record of what was done rather than on memory. Use it once an epic is finished and you want a retrospective grounded in that record. The skill is a launcher: it renders the retrospective workflow for the current project and then follows it, so the specific output and steps come from that workflow. It needs the project to be set up with BMad, which keeps its files in a _bmad/ folder at the project root. If the folder is missing, the skill reports that BMad is not set up yet and offers to install the bmad skill before running again. If the command fails, or uv is not available, it reports the output and stops instead of running the workflow source directly. It is part of the BMad Method project on GitHub, which has about 54,000 stars. The listing shows it as free. Its security audits show a pass from Gen Agent Trust Hub and Snyk, and a warning from Socket.
