About bmad-review

bmad-review
Runs one or more installed review lenses
BMad Review checks content through a set of review lenses, each with its own method and stance. The lenses cover adversarial critique, edge cases, verification gaps, structure and prose. The skill runs one or more of them over a diff, a branch, uncommitted changes, a file, a spec, a story or any document, and reports its findings in one shared format. The findings are triaged so real problems are separated from noise. The skill does not pad a result to look thorough. For most lenses an empty result is valid, and the editorial lenses critique only how content is organized and expressed, not its substance. The adversarial lens is different: it is expected to produce concrete findings, and an empty list makes it re-check. You can name lenses by code or by name, or let the skill run every applicable lens. Optional notes can point it to areas to keep in mind, and the set of lenses can be extended or replaced in the project's settings. It is part of the BMad Method project on GitHub, which has about 54,000 stars. The listing shows it as free. Its security audits show a warning from Gen Agent Trust Hub and Snyk, and a pass from Socket.
