About bmad-sprint-planning

bmad-sprint-planning
Check that planning is complete enough to implement
BMad Sprint Planning checks that planning is complete enough to implement, then generates the sprint status file from the epics. Before committing to a plan, it reads the planning the way a skeptic would, because gaps found early are cheaper than gaps found mid-build. A readiness gate reports what it finds, and when the gate passes, the skill writes the sprint status file from the epics. Its other modes handle the rest of the sprint: a status view that summarizes progress, a validate mode that checks the tracking file's format, and a fix mode that repairs or rebuilds a broken status file. The skill picks the mode from your request, so asking where the sprint stands runs only the status view, and asking for a readiness check runs only the gate. It reads its settings from the project's _bmad/ folder and works with the planning and implementation folders the project has configured. It is part of the BMad Method project on GitHub, which has about 54,000 stars. The listing shows it as free. Its security audits show passes from Gen Agent Trust Hub, Socket and Snyk.
