About caveman-help

caveman-help
Quick-reference card for caveman modes, skills, and commands
caveman-help is a quick-reference card from the caveman project that lists the caveman output modes and the skills and commands that come with them. It is shown on request with /caveman-help or the phrase caveman help, and it is a one-shot display that does not change the current mode or save any state. The modes compress an answer progressively. The default caveman voice answers first, with no fluff and every fact kept. Ultracave, invoked with /ultracave, strips grammar down to fragments and single words where that is enough, stating each fact once. Megacave, invoked with /megacave, switches to classical Chinese, which uses far fewer characters while keeping technical terms verbatim. The card describes six modes in all, including Lite, Full, Ultra and Wenyan variants, running from light article-dropping to extreme classical Chinese terseness. A mode stays in place until it is changed or the session ends, and /caveman status reports the current mode without changing it. Claude Code and the standalone OpenCode plugin read the stored state, while other hosts answer from the conversation and say so. It is for people who use caveman and want a reminder of its options.
