Description
ce-update checks whether the installed compound-engineering plugin is up to date and recommends the update command if it is not. It compares the installed version with the version in the plugin manifest on the main branch, rather than the latest GitHub release tag, because the marketplace installs plugin contents from the main branch. The skill works only in Claude Code. You ask it to check the plugin's version, or say something like update compound engineering, and it probes the versions and reports the result. It is a quick way to confirm that the plugin you are running matches the current code before relying on a new feature. The skill is part of the compound-engineering plugin by Every and is listed on skills.sh as free.…
