About check-impl-against-spec

C

check-impl-against-spec

Compare a pull request's implementation against spec context in spec_context.md

check-impl-against-spec is an agent skill for pull request review. It compares the implementation on a checked-out pull request branch with the approved spec context in a spec_context.md file, and it reports any material mismatches in review.json. The skill is used only when that file exists. The spec context can include product content, such as intended behavior and acceptance criteria, and tech content, such as implementation details and file changes. The skill reads the annotated diff in pr_diff.txt and may use the pull request description in pr_description.md for additional scope or rationale. Its job is to decide whether the code materially matches the spec, and it is meant as a supplement to the normal code review rather than a separate report. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/warpdotdev/common-skills --skill check-impl-against-spec. The skills.sh listing shows that Gen Agent Trust Hub, Socket and Snyk all passed. It is part of the Warp common skills collection, which also contains the spec-writing and review skills it works with.
