cloud-sync

Set up or check claude-mem cloud sync with cmem.ai Pro

cloud-sync is a skill from the claude-mem project for setting up, or checking, cloud sync for claude-mem through the cmem.ai Pro service. It applies when a user asks to set up cloud sync, sync memories, back up to the cloud, or check a cmem Pro account. The installed worker syncs through a component called SyncHub. There is one client, one durable operation log, and no separate sync daemon. The skill's job is to check the sync status and point the user to the installer's sign-in at cmem.ai, which writes the connection. Its most important rule is about secrets. The skill never asks the user to paste the sync token into the chat, and it never places the token in a command, prints it, passes it as an argument or writes it to a log. The reason given is that a secret pasted into a chat would enter the transcript, which claude-mem itself can capture and sync. The installer stores the token in the user's claude-mem settings file with restrictive file permissions, so it never passes through the conversation.
