About code-tour

code-tour

Create CodeTour `.tour` files

code-tour is an agent skill from the ECC collection by affaan-m, listed on skills.sh. It writes CodeTour .tour files, which are guided walkthroughs of a codebase that open straight to the right files and line ranges in editors that support the format. Each tour is a narrative written for one kind of reader, with steps that say what the reader is looking at, why it matters and where to go next. Tours are used for onboarding a new engineer, explaining an architecture, walking a reviewer through a pull request, or answering how something works with a reusable artifact instead of a loose note. The files live in a tours folder and the skill is explicit that it creates only .tour JSON and does not change source code. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source.
