About contact-research

contact-research
Research a specific person using Common Room data
contact-research is a skill from Anthropic's knowledge-work plugins, listed on skills.sh. It retrieves a contact profile for a specific person from Common Room. It is triggered by requests such as who is a named person, look up an email, research a contact, or whether a person is a warm lead. The skill can look a person up by email, which the page calls the most reliable method, by a social handle such as LinkedIn, Twitter or GitHub, by name and company, or by name alone. If a name alone matches more than one person, it shows a short list and asks the user to confirm. If there is no match, it says so and does not invent a profile. The profile returned includes activity history, Spark, scores, website visits and CRM fields. It suits sales and marketing staff who want to know the context of a person before they reach out, drawn from the records the team already has.
