About continuous-learning

continuous-learning
[DEPRECATED - use continuous-learning-v2] Legacy v1 stop-hook skill extractor
continuous-learning is the deprecated version 1 of a skill from the ECC collection by affaan-m, listed on skills.sh. It was an extractor that ran on a stop hook at the end of each Claude Code session, reviewed the session and saved reusable patterns as learned skills in the user's skills folder. The skill is marked deprecated as of 2026-04-28, and the listing directs users to continuous-learning-v2, which the page describes as a strict superset. In v2 the stop-hook observation becomes PreToolUse and PostToolUse observation, full skills become atomic instincts with confidence scores, and storage moves from global-only to project-scoped with optional global promotion. This page is kept for archival reference and for existing installs. It covers setting up extraction, configuring the stop hook, reviewing learned skills and adjusting thresholds. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source.
