Track and report Claude Code token usage, spending

cost-tracking is an agent skill from the ECC collection by affaan-m, listed on skills.sh. It reads the local metrics log written by ECC's stop cost-tracker hook and reports Claude Code token usage, spending and budgets from it. The log is a file of JSON lines under the user's Claude folder, with one row appended per session stop. Each row is a running total for its session, so the skill explains that the correct total is the latest row for each session_id, summed across sessions. Adding every row would count the same spend several times. The skill is used when someone asks how much they have spent, what a session cost, or whether they are over budget. Everything is read from the local file, so no outside service is called. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source.
