draft-openspec-docs

Collaborative page-drafting mode for the OpenSpec docs

draft-openspec-docs is an agent skill from the OpenSpec project for drafting a documentation page together with a person. Instead of writing the whole page at once, it plans the page inside the page itself. It sets up a scratch section that holds a purpose list of three to five points, covering who the reader is, what they will look up and what the page links to, and a numbered structure of the sections with the shape of each one, such as a table, a code fence, a tree or bullets. The plan is reviewed in the editor, and the page is then drafted one section at a time, with the user in the loop at each stage. Before it drafts anything, the skill loads the write-openspec-docs style guide and the no-ai-slop writing guidance, and it checks the page's goal and the questions routed to it in the docs lab files. The skill says to state what the page will do rather than what it will not, and to use plain words and short bullets. It is for writers and maintainers of OpenSpec's documentation who want a careful, reviewed draft rather than a generated page. The skill passes Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket on skills.sh, and Snyk shows a warning. It has about 2,300 installs. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/fission-ai/openspec --skill draft-openspec-docs.
