About email-drafter

email-drafter
Draft and review professional emails that match your personal writing style
email-drafter is an agent skill from the github/awesome-copilot collection that drafts and reviews professional emails in the user's own writing style. It uses WorkIQ to read the user's sent emails and prior correspondence with the recipient, analyzing tone, greeting, structure and sign-off, so that drafts sound like the person who will send them. It gathers context first, then produces a draft the user can review and refine. It is triggered by requests such as drafting an email to someone about a topic, writing a follow-up to a customer about a project, replying to an email, composing a proposal for an initiative, or analyzing the tone used with a particular recipient. The skill is useful for busy professionals who write many similar messages and want a faster start without losing their voice. Because the skill reads the user's mailbox and correspondence, it works only with the access the user has granted, and the content it reads should not be sent to anyone outside the user's organization. Drafts are never sent by the skill, and the user should read and edit every draft before it goes out. The skill is installed with the skills CLI from the github/awesome-copilot repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 1.4K installs and passing results from three security audits at the time of the scan.
