About firecrawl-map

firecrawl-map
Discover and filter URLs on a website
Firecrawl map is an agent skill for discovering the URLs on a website. It is for cases where you know the site but not the exact page you need, such as finding the URL for a topic inside a large site or listing everything the site contains before you choose which pages to scrape or crawl. A search option filters the discovered URLs by keyword, so you can locate pages that mention a term like authentication within a big site. Without a search term, it can return all the URLs it finds, up to a limit you set. Results can be saved as plain text or as JSON in a folder such as .firecrawl. The skill mentions further options for sitemap handling and for including subdomains, which are shown in the command's help output. Like the crawl skill, mapping requires authentication, since the Firecrawl CLI has no keyless free tier for it, and without credentials the CLI prompts for an interactive login. The skill is done when the URL list is saved and you have picked the URLs to scrape or crawl next. It is part of the Firecrawl command-line tool and is listed on skills.sh under the Firecrawl CLI repository, which has about 651 stars and about 79.8K installs. The skills.sh listing shows Gen Agent Trust Hub: Pass, Socket: Pass and Snyk: Warn.
