Assists in designing and implementing secure n-tier serverless web applications

Secure n-tier serverless web app is an agent skill for designing and implementing a serverless web application on Google Cloud with as many architectural layers as you specify. It uses Cloud Run for the serverless layers and Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL as the data layer. A three-tier application, for example, has a Cloud Run presentation layer, a Cloud Run application layer and a Cloud SQL database layer. The architecture enforces network isolation between tiers. The presentation tier is the public entry point, reached through Cloud Load Balancing, and it routes requests privately to the internal tiers through Direct VPC egress. Each application tier is set to accept traffic only from inside the VPC, so it cannot be reached from the internet, and it reaches other services through VPC routing with Private Google Access on the subnet for the run.app addresses. The data tier holds the persistent Cloud SQL database and a Memorystore for Redis cache, and both are reachable only from the authorized application tiers. The skill is useful for teams building an internal or customer-facing application that should have no directly reachable back end. It is published by Google on skills.sh under the google skills repository, with about 4.6K installs. The skills.sh listing shows Gen Agent Trust Hub, Socket and Snyk all passing.
