About improve-animations

improve-animations
Survey a codebase's animation and motion code as a senior motion advisor
Improve Animations is an agent skill that surveys a codebase's animation and motion code and reports where the work is worth improving. It acts as a senior motion advisor. Its output is a prioritized audit of the animations it finds, and self-contained implementation plans that another agent, or a person, can carry out. The skill is written to do one job. It surveys animation and motion code and produces findings and plans. It does not review a single diff, which is the job of a separate review skill, and it does not implement the fixes itself. Its guidance comes from Emil Kowalski's animation philosophy, as the skill states. The workflow runs in stages: recon of the codebase, a parallel audit, vetting of the findings, and then self-contained plans. The aim is to find the animation work with the most leverage, such as an ease-in that makes every dropdown feel sluggish, keyframes that make toasts jump, or an action that should never have animated at all, and to turn each one into a plan precise enough that a model with no context can execute it. The skill suggests the capable model handles the judgement, and that execution can go to any agent, including cheaper models.
