Set up Playwright in a project

Init is an agent skill that sets up Playwright in a project. It is meant to give you a production-ready testing environment in one pass: it detects the framework, generates the config and folder structure, adds an example test and creates a CI workflow. Its first step analyzes the project. It reads package.json to detect React, Next.js, Vue, Angular or Svelte, checks for a tsconfig.json to decide between TypeScript and JavaScript, looks for an existing Playwright install, finds any test folders such as tests, e2e or __tests__, and checks for an existing CI configuration in GitHub Actions or GitLab. The second step installs Playwright only if it is not already present. Because it inspects the project before changing anything, it fits into existing setups rather than replacing them. The skill is triggered by requests such as set up Playwright, add end-to-end tests, or configure the testing setup. It is part of the claude-skills collection by alirezarezvani and is listed on skills.sh with a clean security audit.
