About mcp-deploy-manage-agents

mcp-deploy-manage-agents
Deploy and manage MCP-based declarative agents across Microsoft 365
mcp-deploy-manage-agents is an agent skill from the github/awesome-copilot collection that guides the deployment and management of MCP-based declarative agents across Microsoft 365, through the Microsoft 365 admin center. It covers the governance of these agents: who can see them, how they are assigned, role-based access, and how they are distributed across an organization. It describes five types of agent with different deployment paths: agents published by the organization, agents shared by their creators, agents built into Microsoft, agents from external partners, and frontier agents. Each type is deployed and governed differently, and the skill explains the differences so an administrator chooses the right path for each one. The skill is meant for Microsoft 365 administrators and the teams that build agents for their organization, and it helps keep agent deployment controlled rather than ad hoc. Because agents can reach organizational data, the administrator should review the permissions each agent requests and limit the audience of each agent to the people who need it. The skill is installed with the skills CLI from the github/awesome-copilot repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 8.8K installs and passing results from three security audits at the time of the scan.
