About meeting-minutes

meeting-minutes

Generates concise, actionable meeting minutes

meeting-minutes is an agent skill from the github/awesome-copilot collection that writes concise, actionable minutes for internal meetings of sixty minutes or less, such as standups, design reviews, triage sessions and planning meetings. The minutes put decisions and action items first, so a team can move from discussion to execution quickly. Each set of minutes records the metadata of the meeting, the attendees, the agenda, the decisions with the reasoning behind them, and the action items, each with an owner and a due date, so they can be copied straight into a task tracker such as GitHub Issues or Jira. The work runs in phases, starting with an intake that gathers what is needed before drafting, whether that is a live meeting's notes, a transcript or a recording. It is useful for teams that have many short meetings and need a consistent record of what was decided and who does what. The minutes are only as accurate as the notes they come from, so the owners named in action items should confirm their tasks, and the minutes should be checked for anything sensitive before they are shared more widely. The skill is installed with the skills CLI from the github/awesome-copilot repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 9.9K installs and passing results from three security audits at the time of the scan.
