About napkin

napkin
Visual whiteboard collaboration for Copilot CLI
napkin is an agent skill from the github/awesome-copilot collection that opens a visual whiteboard in the browser so a person can think through an idea by drawing, sketching and adding sticky notes. The agent then reads back the board, using a PNG snapshot and optional JSON data, and replies in conversation with analysis, suggestions and next steps. It is written for lawyers, product managers and business stakeholders rather than software developers, so its language is kept approachable and free of jargon. When it is activated, the skill copies a bundled HTML template for the whiteboard to the user's Desktop, and if a file with that name already exists it asks whether to open the existing board or start fresh before overwriting anything. It is useful for people who think better visually and want an AI partner to react to their sketch. The whiteboard file is saved on the local machine, and the snapshot it reads back is whatever the person has drawn, so private content on the board stays on the machine unless the person chooses to share it. The skill is installed with the skills CLI from the github/awesome-copilot repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 2.2K installs, with Socket and Snyk passing and Gen Agent Trust Hub showing a warning at the time of the scan.
