About nav-tieout

nav-tieout

Tie an LP statement to the fund's NAV pack

nav-tieout is an agent skill from Anthropic's financial-services collection, listed on skills.sh. It checks a generated limited partner (LP) statement against the fund's NAV pack. The agent recomputes the LP's capital account from the NAV components itself, then compares the result with the statement line by line and flags any line that does not agree. The recomputation starts from beginning capital, which is the prior statement's ending balance. It adds contributions paid in the period and subtracts distributions, both cash and in kind. It adds the LP's share of realised and unrealised P&L, less management fees and fund expenses, and deducts any carried interest allocated if it crystallised in the period, to reach ending capital. The inputs, including the LP's commitment percentage, P&L components, fee and expense totals and waterfall outputs, all come from the NAV pack, which is the source of truth. The generated statement is the item under test. It is for fund administrators who need to check statements before an LP receives them.
