Edit drafts into sharper, more human writing while preserving the writer's

no-ai-slop is an agent skill from the petergyang no-ai-slop project that helps a writer tidy up a draft without flattening its voice. It has two jobs. In edit mode, which is the default, the agent takes a draft, makes the minimum effective edits to remove AI-style patterns while keeping the writer's point and personal voice, and returns the edited draft with a short What changed section. In detect mode, triggered when the user asks whether a piece reads as AI slop or wants a draft audited, the agent names each pattern from the skill that appears, quotes the line, and gives the fix in a few words, without rewriting or scoring the text. The skill is explicit that AI detectors guess, so it treats named patterns as evidence the user can check, and it does not guess who wrote the text. Before editing, it asks for the draft if none was provided, and asks who the piece is for and where it will be published when that is unclear, along with what the reader should think, feel or do after reading. The skill is listed on skills.sh, where the page shows install counts, GitHub stars and security audit results, all of which pass. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/petergyang/no-ai-slop --skill no-ai-slop.
