Comprehensive REST API reference for reading, creating, updating

Notion API is an agent skill that reads and writes Notion workspaces through the Notion REST API. It is a reference for the core endpoints, covering pages, blocks, databases, data sources, users and comments, with curl examples and the required headers for each request. The agent uses curl and jq for direct calls, or writes an ad-hoc script when the task needs one. The skill sets out how the API key is handled. It first checks for a NOTION_API_TOKEN environment variable, then uses a key the user supplies in the conversation, and if neither exists it asks the user for the key. The skill is strict that the token must never be displayed, logged or sent anywhere other than the Authorization header. It also documents the API's rate limit, which is an average of three requests per second, and the request headers every call needs. The skill is written to be used whenever a user asks to interact with Notion, such as creating a page, updating a database, reading blocks or adding a comment. It is listed on skills.sh under the intellectronica agent-skills repository. Its security audits show Gen Agent Trust Hub: Pass, Socket: Pass and Snyk: Warn.
