About prd

prd
Generate a Product Requirements Document (PRD) for a new feature
PRD generator is an agent skill for writing a product requirements document for a new feature. The skill works through a short, fixed process. It receives a feature description, asks three to five essential clarifying questions with lettered answer options so you can reply quickly, and then generates a structured PRD from your answers. The finished document is saved to a tasks folder under a file name built from the feature name, such as prd followed by the feature name in Markdown. The skill is strict about its scope: it creates the PRD and does not start implementing the feature. That makes it useful as a planning step before a build, so the feature is clear to the people or agents who will implement it. It is intended for use when planning a feature, starting a new project, or when asked to create a PRD. Its trigger description lists those cases, so the agent loads the skill when a request matches. The skill is published by snarktank on skills.sh under the ralph repository, which has about 22.0K stars and about 1.4K installs. The skills.sh listing shows Gen Agent Trust Hub: Pass, Socket: Pass and Snyk: Pass.
