About prioritize-features

P

prioritize-features

Prioritize a backlog of feature ideas based on impact, effort, risk

prioritize-features is an agent skill that ranks a backlog of feature ideas and picks the top five to pursue. It scores each idea on impact, effort, risk and strategic alignment, and it reads backlogs, spreadsheets or opportunity assessments you provide before it starts. For evaluating customer problems the skill recommends the Opportunity Score from Dan Olsen's The Lean Product Playbook, which is importance multiplied by one minus satisfaction, and it points to the prioritization-frameworks skill for guidance on choosing other methods. The result is a ranked short list with the reasoning for each recommendation, so a product team can see why five features beat the rest. It is useful when a backlog has grown beyond what can be built, or when a team needs to justify its choices to stakeholders. The skill is part of the pm-skills collection by phuryn and is listed on skills.sh as free.
