About process-optimization

P

process-optimization

Analyze and improve business processes

Process-optimization is an agent skill for analyzing an existing business process and recommending how to improve it. It starts by mapping the current state: every step, decision point and handoff, who does each part, how long each step takes, and where manual work or approvals add waiting time. It then looks for waste in five forms: waiting in queues or for approvals, rework when steps fail and must be redone, handoffs that can break or slow the flow, over-processing that adds no value, and manual tasks that could be automated. The result is a set of recommendations based on that map rather than general advice. You can trigger the skill by describing a problem in your own words, for example that a process is slow, has too many steps, or has a bottleneck. It is part of Anthropic's knowledge-work plugins.
