project-workflow-analysis-blueprint-generator

Generates detailed implementation blueprints by analyzing project architecture

project-workflow-analysis-blueprint-generator is an agent skill from the github/awesome-copilot collection that generates detailed implementation blueprints by analyzing a project's architecture, technology stack and workflow patterns. It documents end-to-end application workflows, meaning the path a request or event takes through the system from the entry point to the data store and back. It auto-detects the project type, the entry points such as an API, a GraphQL endpoint, a frontend, a command-line tool, a message consumer or a scheduled job, the persistence mechanism such as a SQL or NoSQL database, a file system, an external API, a message queue or a cache, and the architecture pattern, which may be layered, clean, CQRS, microservices, MVC, MVVM, serverless or event-driven. The number of workflows to document is configurable, from one to five. The generator uses these findings to tailor the documentation to the project. It is useful for onboarding engineers to an unfamiliar system, and for documenting how a feature works before it is changed. The blueprint describes the code as it is, so workflows should be verified by walking through them with the team that owns the system. The skill is installed with the skills CLI from the github/awesome-copilot repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 9.4K installs and passing results from three security audits at the time of the scan.
