by googleworkspaceFree
Description
recipe-save-email-to-doc is a recipe skill from the Google Workspace CLI project, listed on skills.sh. It saves the body of a Gmail message into a new Google Doc for archive or reference. The workflow finds the message by a search query, such as a subject and sender, retrieves its content, creates a new document with a title, and appends the email body to the document as formatted text, with the sender and subject at the top. The listing says the search can filter by subject, sender and other Gmail criteria. The recipe needs gws-gmail and gws-docs. It creates a new document and does not alter the email. It suits people who need to keep an important message in a document that they can edit, share or search, for example a decision, a contract update or a formal notice.…
