About remotion-maps

remotion-maps
Remotion Map animation knowledge
remotion-maps is an agent skill from the Remotion team's skills collection, listed on skills.sh. It gives the agent the know-how to animate maps inside Remotion videos. The skill starts by asking the agent to choose exactly one technique for the shot it has in mind, and then to load only that technique's guide. Each technique lives in its own folder, so it can be removed without breaking the others. It describes three approaches. A static map uses a satellite image that you find yourself, mounted in an image tag, with the animation drawn on top. Mapbox needs a Mapbox key, and gives nicer styles by default, a round globe when zoomed out, and 3D buildings, such as the Eiffel Tower. MapLibre is the third option. The skill is for video makers and developers who want a moving map inside a video generated with Remotion, and who need to pick the approach that fits the key requirements and the look they want.
