remotion-upgrade is an agent skill from the Remotion team's skills collection, listed on skills.sh. It upgrades Remotion and its related packages in a project. First it inspects the project's manifests and lockfile to find the package manager and any workspaces, and it is told to preserve any unrelated changes. If the @remotion/cli package is available locally, the skill runs npx remotion upgrade, which also updates the project-local Remotion skills, and the manual steps are skipped. Without the CLI, the skill finds the latest stable Remotion version with npm view, then finds every installed remotion and @remotion/* dependency across the project and moves them all to that exact version. It keeps their dependency sections and the workspace or catalog conventions. It then reads the @remotion/studio dependencies for the target version and aligns auxiliary packages such as zod, mediabunny and @huggingface/transformers with the versions listed there. Finally it runs the project's own package manager to update the lockfile, and it updates the installed Remotion skills.
