Structured scholarly-work evaluation for papers, proposals, literature reviews
by affaan-mFree
Description
scholar-evaluation is an agent skill from the ECC collection by affaan-m, listed on skills.sh. It evaluates academic and scientific work against a repeatable rubric. It applies to reviewing a research paper, proposal, thesis chapter or literature review, to checking whether the claims in a piece of work are supported by its cited evidence, to assessing methodology, study design, analysis and stated limitations, to comparing two or more papers for quality or relevance, and to producing structured feedback that an author can use in a revision. The skill starts by identifying the artefact and its scope, so the review matches what is actually being assessed. Because it is a SKILL.md file of instructions, an AI agent loads it when such a review is requested and follows the same structure each time. It is free and open source, and the skills.sh listing shows a Snyk warning, with Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket passing.…
