About simple-issue-description

simple-issue-description
Turn a rough bug report, feature request, support note
Simple issue description is an agent skill that turns a rough bug report, feature request, support note or pull request into a short, plain-language issue. The result is meant to be understood by a maintainer in under a minute, and it focuses on the problem and the behavior someone wants, without prescribing how to build it. The skill reads the notes, conversation, issue, pull request description or diff you give it. For a pull request it also checks any spec, design document or README change, since those often state the intent better than the description. It names the concrete problem and who is affected when the source makes that clear, and keeps only the context that helps someone understand or reproduce the problem. It is strict about evidence: it does not invent user impact, reproduction steps or certainty. If the source only shows cleanup, refactoring or a possible code smell, it says no concrete problem is clear, and it explains what evidence would make it worth filing. If a source bundles several unrelated problems, it drafts the issue for the most significant one, lists the rest one per line, and tells the contributor to split them into separate issues and pull requests. A feature request is described as what users cannot do today and the full experience of the feature. The skill is published by every-app on skills.sh under the open-seo repository, and the listing shows Gen Agent Trust Hub: Pass, Socket: Pass and Snyk: Warn.
