About skill-comply

skill-comply
Visualize whether skills, rules, and agent definitions are actually followed
skill-comply is an agent skill from the ECC collection by affaan-m, listed on skills.sh. It measures whether coding agents actually follow the skills, rules and agent definitions they are given. It generates the expected sequence of behaviour from any markdown file, then creates scenarios at three levels of prompt strictness, from supportive to neutral to competing. It runs claude -p, captures the tool-call traces in stream-json, classifies the tool calls against the expected steps with a language model rather than regular expressions, checks their order deterministically, and writes a self-contained report with the spec, the prompts and the timelines. The targets are skills in SKILL.md files, rules such as testing, security and git workflow rules, and agent definitions, where the listing notes that checking internal workflow is not yet supported. It applies when someone needs evidence that a skill or rule is being followed in practice. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source, and the skills.sh listing shows a Gen Agent Trust Hub warning and a Socket warning, with Snyk passing.
