About sprint-plan

sprint-plan

Plan a sprint with capacity estimation, story selection, dependency mapping

sprint-plan is an agent skill that plans a sprint by estimating team capacity, selecting and sequencing stories, mapping dependencies and identifying risks. It starts with capacity: the number of people and their availability after time off, meetings and on-call duty, the historical velocity from the last three sprints, and a buffer that the skill sets at 15 to 20 percent for unexpected work, bugs and technical debt. From there it chooses and orders the stories so that dependencies are respected, and it flags the risks that could derail the sprint. You can provide backlogs, velocity data, team rosters or previous sprint reports, and the skill reads them before planning. It is useful when preparing for sprint planning, estimating what a team can take on, or checking whether a proposed sprint is overloaded. The skill is part of the pm-skills collection by phuryn and is listed on skills.sh as free.
