About systematic-literature-review

S

systematic-literature-review

A systematic literature review, survey

systematic-literature-review is an agent skill from the DeerFlow project that produces a structured systematic literature review across many academic papers on one topic. Given a topic query, it searches arXiv, extracts the same metadata from each paper, including the research question, methodology, key findings and limitations, and then synthesizes the themes across the whole set. The output is a final report with consistent citations, and the skill can use a specific citation style such as APA when you ask for one. It also covers survey-style overviews, annotated bibliographies and reviews of research trends across a time window. It is built for breadth, so it suits a researcher or student who needs to see how a field approaches a question, or who wants to compare methods across many papers. It is not for reviewing a single paper. The skill says to use the academic-paper-review skill when you hand it one paper URL and ask for a review. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/bytedance/deer-flow --skill systematic-literature-review. On skills.sh it passes Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket, and Snyk shows a warning.
