About understand-figma

understand-figma
Analyze a Figma file via the Figma REST API
understand-figma is an agent skill that reads a Figma file through the Figma REST API and builds an interactive design knowledge graph from it. The graph covers the file's pages, screens, components, component sets, instances and design tokens, and it is shown in the same Understand Anything dashboard used for code. It is meant for designers and design engineers who want to see how a Figma file is structured, which components are reused and where they are placed. The skill needs a Figma personal access token in the FIGMA_TOKEN environment variable, plus Node 22 or newer and pnpm 10 or newer. The token is only sent in the X-Figma-Token header to api.figma.com and is never written to the graph or logs. Unlike the other understand skills, which work offline, this one makes outbound calls to Figma, and the skill tells you so before it runs.
