About update-implementation-plan

update-implementation-plan
Update implementation plan files
update-implementation-plan is an agent skill from the github/awesome-copilot collection that updates an existing implementation plan file to reflect new or changed requirements for features, refactoring, infrastructure or package upgrades. The output is meant to be machine-readable and deterministic, so that other AI agents or people can execute it without interpretation. The skill requires atomic phases, each with measurable completion criteria, and tasks that can run in parallel where they are independent. Its core requirements call for deterministic language with no ambiguity, a structure suited to automated parsing, and a plan that is self-contained, needing no outside documents to be understood. It is useful for teams that keep plans as files that agents will execute, and that need the plan revised when requirements change without losing the structure that makes it executable. Because the plan will be executed as written, a person should review the revised plan before any agent carries it out, and the completion criteria should be checked for accuracy. The skill is installed with the skills CLI from the github/awesome-copilot repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 11.1K installs and passing results from three security audits at the time of the scan.
