About validate-data

validate-data
QA an analysis before sharing -- methodology, accuracy, and bias checks
Validate-data is an agent skill that quality-checks an analysis before it reaches stakeholders. It reviews methodology, accuracy and potential biases, then produces a confidence assessment and a list of suggested improvements. The thing being checked can take several forms: a document or report in the conversation, a file such as markdown, a notebook or a spreadsheet, SQL queries together with their results, charts and the data behind them, or a plain description of the methodology and findings. It is most useful just before an analysis is shared, when someone needs to confirm that the numbers and the reasoning hold up. Because it looks at the method as well as the figures, it checks more than arithmetic. You run it with /validate-data followed by the analysis. It is part of Anthropic's knowledge-work plugins and uses the data connector guide.
