About vendor-check

V

vendor-check

Check the status of existing agreements

Vendor-check is an agent skill that shows the status of your existing agreements with a vendor. It looks across every connected system, including contract lifecycle management, CRM, email and document storage, and combines what it finds into one consolidated view of the legal relationship. It then runs a gap analysis, showing which expected agreements or terms are missing, and lists upcoming dates that need attention. You run it with /vendor-check followed by the vendor's name, and if you leave the name out the skill asks which vendor you mean. Its first step is to identify the vendor across the sources, so matching names in different systems point to the same relationship. The skill says plainly that it assists with legal workflows but does not give legal advice, and that agreement status reports should be verified against the original documents by a qualified legal professional. It is part of Anthropic's knowledge-work plugins and is useful when you need a fast picture of what is in place with a supplier.
