About version-release

version-release
Version release workflow
version-release is an agent skill from the LobeHub repository for the release process. It is a router, so the detailed steps are in its reference files, and it covers three things only: the release branch and pull request workflow, the constraints on the CI trigger in the auto-tag-release.yml workflow, and the writing of GitHub Release notes. It does not cover documentation. The skill says it is not for writing docs or changelog pages under docs/changelog, and that a request for website changelog pages should load the separate docs-changelog skill instead. It also requires a companion skill to be loaded for every /version-release run, so the release is handled under the same rules each time. The skill is for maintainers who cut a new version of LobeHub and need the release branch, the tag that CI creates and the release notes to be right. The skill passes Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket, and Snyk shows a warning on skills.sh. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/lobehub/lobehub --skill version-release.
