Omphalis

Omphalis is a workspace for understanding. Work through a difficult paper, investigate a topic across several sources, or revisit a question with your notes beside it. Bring in what you're working from: articles, PDFs, podcasts (opened as transcripts you can highlight), video and YouTube links. Highlight a passage and keep a note beside it about why it mattered. Your notes are grouped by source and you can search them, and each one opens the source at that passage, so you can build on what you've already worked out. Made for researchers, students, writers, podcasters and pastors who work from sources they need to understand. Runs on the web, iPhone and Android, with Chrome and Firefox extensions. There's a free plan with 100 comprehension units a month. On the free plan, PDFs are saved but not opened as a readable page. Reading PDFs comes with the trial and paid plans: 30-day trial, no card required, with 600 comprehension units, 200 Ask voice minutes and 15 assistant answers a day.…
